Duties and Responsibilities: An occupational therapist carries a series of duties that help a patient carry out normal duties. They often help people who have a mental, physical or mental. They often carry work with children or adults who need extra care that have difficulties since birth ex, Down syndrome or mental or psychical injuries due to an accident.

  • ·         Develop a rehabilitation program
  • ·         Teach anxiety techniques
  • ·         Etc...


Education: OT’s should complete a postgraduate qualification degree in Health care Professions Council. Occupational therapy programs combine practical and theoretical elements. Academic subjects studied include:

  • ·         biological sciences
  • ·         behavioral sciences occupational therapy knowledge and skills;
  • ·         creative and management skills;
  • ·         therapeutic interventions;
  • ·         Environmental adaptations and research methods.
