My Summer.

My summer

Summer, isn’t every teenager supposed to have a fun summer?  WELL NOT ME. Now I am not saying I had a bad summer. I had a pretty decent summer. Not that great.  But it was better than last summer.  In the beginning, It was kind of boring. Mostly what I did was hang out with my friends. We ate burgers, watched TV, herd some music, walked around the park and of course ate  AGAIN.

Me, Myself, and I.

I have no idea.

As I write this I have no idea on what to write so here I go. As I am growing up, I don't know how things are going to go for me. I just hope I do the right thing because I want to make my mother proud and I want to bring change to the world. Sometimes, I feel that I am not good at something but I keep my eyes open for things that could be my special talent. All around me, I see people have talent or are good at, at least something. But, than there's me. I just want to be good at something, I want to move on from all the negativity and go some were and have that fresh start with good positive energy in me. Somehow I will manage to find something tat I am good at maybe not now, maybe not later, but in time. I mean sometimes it does get to me that I do not have anything to show off or any talent what so ever but I know that I will find something. I am Martha, and I will reach my future.

“To know what is right and not to do it is the worst cowardice”
-Confucius
Reflection: What this statement means is that it is truly disappointing when you know and understand the consequences of something that is wrong and you do it anyway. It is a result that you are being a coward to yourself. For example: A teenager walks in to a party full of close friends. He sees his friends having a couple of alcoholic beverages, and they offer him some. He knows it’s wrong but he does it anyway. He probably feels guilty because he knew it was the wrong thing to do instead of the right thing to do.

"Always do right"
Mark Twain

Reflection:   In our youth, there is peer pressure and violence. We get encouraged to do activities or certain thing we want to do or would like to try , or even things we know we shouldn't do but do anyways to make ourselves look cool. But in reality, we downgrade ourselves  and destroy our chances of being the bigger person. Twain's quote specify's that  a person should always do right and push herself/himself to do the right thing and not fall into negativity.

" We need the courage to start and continue what we should do, and the courage to stop what we shouldn't do"
- Richard L. Evans

This quote refers to the people who don't have enough happiness or don't believe in them self to do something that is worth fighting for or something that would help each and everyone of us.  Most of us don't realize or don't want to realize what we are doing is wrong and doesn't better us. We need to have courage in yourself to  do the right thing and do what will help in life instead of doing the wrong and what doesn't hep us in life.
