Student Success Statement 

Cowardice asks the question "Is it safe?"

Expediency asks the question "Is it politic" 

Vanity asks the question "Is it popular?"

But, conscience asks the question, "Is it right?" 

And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, not popular, but one must take it because one's conscience tells one that it is right.

Reflection: Over time, we face questions that challenge us in every aspect. We are put face to face with events that leaves questioning our morality  and our faith. in this quote, I imagine a mind overfilled with questions and obstacles. For example, a reckless teenager about to jump off a truck or something worse, could be thinking its fun but is it safe  while the other side is pushing him to do it. But, overall, the important question is "Is it right?", could it be right, does it feel right? What are we getting ourselves into? We carry courage, honor, dignity,and pride but we never carry whats right.
