Laboratory Technician
Duties and Responsibilities: Optical Laboratory Technicians cut,
grind, and polish eyeglasses, contact lenses, or other precision optical
elements. Assemble and mount lenses to an appropriate size. They make sure they
fit the patients’ needs and care.
Education: This specific job description requires a high school
diploma and may require some vocational training or job related job work. Or in
some cases a associates degree.
Salary: $30,000
