Medical
Assistant
Duties and Responsibilities: A medical assistant
helps out physicians in the workforce by completing secretarial and clinical
duties. A medical assistant schedules appointments, takes x-rays, blood work, temperatures,
lad work, exams and lab tests. Medical assistants can work in hospitals,
offices, clinics or private offices.
Education: A potential medical assistant should complete
high school with courses in biology or any other sciences, should do well in
communications or human relations, but in fact should take a medical training
program at a technical college or community college. Most medical assistants have GED’s, but if you
want to expand your medical career or become a doctor medical school is needed
and a certification test is followed.
Reflection: The job of a medical assistant is interesting,
but, I would not like to be a medical assistant because. I think I don’t have
the coordination a medical assistant should have.
