Student Success Statement

Student Success Statement
“Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence.
Talent: will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent.
Genius: will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb.
Education: will not; the world is full of educated derelicts
Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan ‘Press On’ has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race”
-         President Calvin Coolidge
Student Reflection: Out of all my beliefs the topic of education has been my main interest. I believe that education is not academics. I believe that education understands the value of things, living, and knowing.  A person can be very bad in mathematics but very skilled in art. A person can be very skilled in mathematics but could do poorly in English Literature a smart individual will keep going no matter how hard the situation gets or how many barriers they have to conquer.
